A Little Bit About Me

I am a recent Interior Design graduate who studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Since finishing my degree, I have gone back home to Cornwall where I grew up and went to school. Before coming to university, I completed a foundation diploma in art & design which solidified my interest in a creative career. I have always loved colour, shape and texture which originally caused me to want to pursue Fine Art, but my obsession for composition and balance is what eventually led me to love organising interiors and therefore choose to study it further at university.

During my time at University I was lucky enough to be nominated for the South Wales Women In Property Student Award 2020. For this I had to present one of my projects in front of a judging panel which included members of the WIP organisation and their sponsors. It was a fantastic experience where I got to meet lots of amazing women in the construction industry and I was so grateful to be awarded with Highly Commended by the judges.

Now that I have left university, I am looking forward to continuing my journey as an interior designer and in time I hope to gain experience from practises and develop my abilities within the industry.
